Morning came

Every morning, well before dawn and breakfast, I set out on a six kilometre walk around our beachside village. This helps me to manage my type 1 diabetes. I usually take a camera with me.Taking photos at that time of the day is challenging. The light is fragile, and it is a battle between aperture, shutter speed and iso. Failure is frequent.

Every morning during my walk that original utterance echoes around the universe again:

“Let there be light”.

Every morning the miracle happens: “and there was light”. Today it was exceedingly good.
